Manti

WE HAVE HIGH SPEED! We've had it for a year now but it never worked in out little town. Praise the heavens!!! It took half as long as it usually does to download my pictures! Can ya tell I'm excited.
So Wednesday night we headed down to Manti for the Mormon Miracle Pageant. We left Ike at my mom's for many reasons, he does not like to travel, he would have lasted less than 2 minutes for the play, and we were camping. Yes, we camped. It wasn't too bad until we went to bed. The play didn't get out until 11:30 and there where some youth groups camping next to us, need I say more. The boys like to tell everyone how mom got mad at a very obnoxious young lady, walking past our tent at 1:00 am who did not know how to whisper. All I did was say "HEY, SHHHHHHHHHH" but my boys are very in tune with my tones and they new I was not happy with her! Anyway, the play was very good and a fun adventure. I would recommend going to any of you who have not. It is a little long but if you take your kids you have a reason to ditch out early as I did with Aydan, he was a little sleepy and we were sitting on metal folding chairs. And I will warn you all in advance, they advertise breakfast in the morning at the park, they do not really do it. We pulled up and there were tents and people cooking breakfast but it was a Baptist youth camp from California. They came to show their youth the weird Mormons and to let all the Mormons know that they believed in rubbish. They where very nice and told us to say for breakfast, said that lots of other families did, so we ate breakfast with the protesters. I have some mixed emotions about it needless to say. They were very nice and by no means the enemy, but they think we have been lead astray, that we're dumb, evil, and all going to hell, that is why I have my mixed emotions. Maybe I should have been a missionary, but we would have been kicked out and had to eat at McDonald's.

Ahh, Manti Pageant...good times! We haven't been since we had kids, and I will have to say that it will probably be a good long while before we attempt that, but it's good you do fun things with the boys. Did you go by Grandpa's grave? Is the headstone up yet?

That sounds like fun....all except the baptist part. Bless their hearts. We really wanted to go down but but the plans never got off the ground. Glad you had a mostly good time.

Sounds like fun except the camping part! I told Kyle that the only camping he will get me to do is at the cabin with my nice bed, bathroom, and kitchen. The last time I went was with you, Brandon, Kristen, and Bill at Lake Powell when you were all engaged and I was the chaperone! Maybe all of our bad luck on that trip ruined me.
