ONE HELLOFA PARTY!

Why call it just the 4th of July? I think it should just be called the first week of July. It was a fun (sometimes too fun) week. Our little town always has their fireworks a day earlier, so Thursday we headed to our favorite spot, that's not to crowded, and waited out the fireworks. Ike wasn't quit sure if he was into the fireworks thing but once I covered his ears he enjoyed them.

This is as good as I could ask for.

On the 4th Brandon had things to do down at the fairgrounds, so he took Jack and I took Ayd and Ike to my moms. On the First weekend of July our little town has what they call The Cruise In. Now you might have to have a mullet of a beer bellie to know what this is unless you are from our little town. Basically it's a bunch of old and new fancy cars that people bring in from all over the country. Brandon put in his blue truck this year.

Saturday was the Cruise In parade so we had some of my family and some of Brandon's over for a BBQ and then on to the parade. For those of you who do not know what the parade is, it's just all of the cars get to cruise main for a couple of hours and all of the rest of us get to watch. Brandon always thinks ahead and puts a trailer out for us in the shade. Our Mexican exchange student from 20 years ago (Erica) who now lives in Paris with her French husband (Vincent) came to see us. They even came to the parade. I wonder if there is a work for "hick" in Spanish or French?

Ike loves Twinkies!

Sunday was my nephew, Benjamin David Kotter's blessing (Trish and Kurt's fifth). I am a slacker and forget my camera so there is no picture of him yet.

Monday was our neighborhood party which me and my friend Klair put together. I would have to day it was a success.

Whenever I couldn't find Ike, he was over taking something else of the food table. And this was after two hot dogs, lots of Cheetos, and fruit.

Jack's clan

Ayd was just happy to sit with dad.

This is Jack being a smart "A" cause I told him I wanted a picture of him. HMMM, I wonder who he takes after.

Thanks again for taking Griff on a ride down main street in Baby Blue. He loved it.

Peace Out.

Our boys would be so sad if they knew they missed the Cruise In! Heck, I'm sad that we missed it--I hate to turn down a party in Logan. You guys know how to carry out a holiday and a party!! See you soon

Um, I think Jack takes after his father. We came to that realization after he asked Brett why he bought a crappy Chevy. Thanks for a great dinner and cruise-in. It was a lot of fun. It was great seeing you guys again.

That is "Mom and Dad MacKay" ... It was fun to see you Lori. And Dee was tickled that you called him "Dee". Love the pictures of your cute boys. I think Ike and I have the same food cravings. I'm proud of you for being the great party organizer.
